COS.MEC. SRL CONSTITUTION DATE
Cos.Mec. srl is founded in Dalmine. Original core business is lighting / industrial poles manufacturing and steel works. Headquarter is located near Tubi Dalmine steel mill, of which Cosmec become shortly a trusted supplier.
COSMEC ASME U-U2-S CERTIFICATIONS
Cosmec Srl achieves ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) “U”, “U2” and “S” Certificates of Authorization for manufacturing and assembly of Power Boilers and Pressure Vessels.
COS.MEC. BECOME COSMEC
25th May, 1981. Company is registered as a new entity called Cosmec srl located in Via Sabbio, Dalmine (Italy).
Production range is extended to pressure vessels throughout the upcoming years.
COSMEC API CERTIFICATIONS
Cosmec Srl achieves on 24th April, 2013 API ISO 9001:2008 and Q1 Certificates of Registration for Design and Manufacture of Pressure Equipment for Chemical, Petrochemical and Steel Plant Industry.
Furthermore, Cosmec obtains in the same Audit, Certificate of Authority to use API monogram 12J and 12K.
COSMEC ACQUISITION
Cosmec Srl acquires Cosmec Srl, holding 85% of the share capital. Union between Cosmec machineries and Cosmec design capabilities creates a new complete offer.
RELOCATION TO BRAND NEW PLANT
Together with Cosmec and related affiliates, Cosmec moves to a brand-new plant in Via Bastone, Dalmine (Italy) for a total Area of 30.000 sqm. ASME “U”, “U2” and “S” Certificates of Authorization have been updated under the name of “COSMEC – DELTA ENGINEERING”.
COSMEC ISO 9001 CERTIFICATION
Cosmec Srl is certified ISO 9001 by Bureau Veritas Italia first time on August 6th 1999 for design and manufacturing of Pressure Equipment, Piping and Steel Structures.
NEW PLANT EXPANSION
Cosmec completes a plant expansion erecting new workshop equipped with Nr.2 40 Tons/each overhead Cranes, in order to increase lifting capacity and production up to 100 Tons.

LOCATION AND FACILITIES
Formerly located in its historical headquarter in Via Sabbio 93, Dalmine (Italy) since 1981, starting from middle of 2016 Cosmec moves to a brand-new plant located in Via Bastone 148/150, Dalmine (Italy). Activities are developed in a 30.000 sqm area, which includes main office building and Nr. 3 workshops:
- 7.000 sqm of Covered Area for Carbon Steel;
- 2.000 sqm of Covered Area for Stainless Steel;
- 1.000 sqm of Covered Test Area;
- 700 sqm of Offices Area;
- 20.000 sqm of Open/Uncovered Area.
